Beijing 北京🎭

Visiting the capital of China, Beijing, is an enriching experience characterized by an abundance of artworks, historical ruins, and cultural treasures. Numerous locations in Beijing merit a detour, allowing visitors to appreciate its sights, historic buildings, and artistic expressions. It is advisable to prepare with comfortable walking shoes, a bottle of water, and a conveniently accessible Alipay account for navigation, along with some spare RMB cash in the event of mobile data exhaustion. Most stores do accept cash, and notes are considerable valuable for collectors.

The National Art Museum of China encompasses a total of seven floors, with the uppermost level allocated for academic research purposes. The museum features a café and a souvenir shop located on the ground floor, both of which provide an ideal setting for a brief respite during one’s exploration of the six levels of exhibits. During this visit, I attended the 贵在意 exhibition, which coincided with the celebration of China’s National Day. This exhibition showcases a collection of artworks ranging from those reflecting the historical footprints of the Ming and Qin dynasties to contemporary modern artworks.

Until my next visit~~ 🇨🇳
