Established in 2016, the LOEWE FOUNDATION is a vibrant beacon of creativity, fervently championing innovative expression through dynamic educational programmes and unwavering commitment to safeguarding our cultural heritage in the realms of art, craft, design, photography, poetry, and dance. The LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize stands as a resplendent annual tribute to the brilliance and artistic merit found in contemporary making, igniting inspiration and celebrating the extraordinary talents of today’s creators.
The 2026 edition assembles thirty finalists hailing from nineteen countries and regions, presenting works that reimagine traditional practices through contemporary methodologies. Encompassing ceramics, woodwork, textiles, furniture, bookbinding, glass, metal, jewelry, and lacquer, the exhibition underscores the diversity and ingenuity present in contemporary craftsmanship today.
The thirty finalist works are currently exhibited at the National Gallery Singapore, signifying the inaugural presentation of the LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize in Southeast Asia. See you there!
